I really would contact the dealer. A good dealer will exchange it for you and then return it to Slot.it. Slot.it wants to be notified about these things so they can help prevent further issues.

I'll send you one of mine if you need it quick for your project.

And...no I would not use it.

Thanks for the info, Harry. I didn't consider that Slot.it would want to keep track of things like this. Good point. I hate to make extra work for them, but I'll contact our friendly folks at SCC then.

And thanks for the offer, but I can wait on the gear. I'm working on a shotgun Merc and am lightyears away from completion.
