Revell Monogram winding down.

Anyone else heard the news that Monogram / Revell are winding down on slotcar production and wont be making any new moulds.
There was something on it about it on slotcar todays site.

Was informed of this awhile back
...but maybe, just maybe there will be more repaints of existing molds.
Shame though.

Yup. Both sad and true. After 49 years in the business Revellogram will cease slot car production which only makes up a small portion of the company's business. I understood it would be a "stop" rather than a "wind down".

If they are going to stop producing slot cars then lets hope they will still produce all these cars as 1/32 kits then possibly.
That would actually be a good thing too.

With work, these are some of my favorite cars. Mark has got the tuning down to a science too. Harry taught me his tricks and now their stock cars are some of my favorites.
