Yeah, me too. I started one in that livery in 1/24 and never finished it. Count me in.

May I ask what the price is going to be and if clear parts will be included?

Someone just told me about the Carrera Torino which is very close to this so it's probably not worth doing. Thanks for everyone's posts.
Now the '71 Mustang Mach 1 hasn't been done in 1:32 has it? It's never been a race car but that's never stopped me

You're right - it does look good as a race car!
Here's a rough placement of mine

And the kind of car I usually do...

While my '65 Mustang was getting a paint job in 1982, I had the shop owner's restored '73 Mach I to drive as a loaner. I have to say, that is one ridiculous car, to be as good looking as it was. You sit way too low to see well, the steering wheel is at a strange angle, the instrument panel is at the bottom of a deep hole in the dash, you look in the rear view mirror to see through a little slit of a back window, and it rode like a buckboard. I had always wanted one of those things, but I didn't after that week.

Personally I think the lines of the Mercury are enough different from the Ford Torino to make it a worthwhile project and as a plus it could fit on the Carrera chassis.

I'm with Bob on this. I already looked to make sure I still have one spare Carrera chassis.

Yeah, there's enough Carerra chassis in existence to make it worth while.I've got a Hoss Ellington Merc. that I want to do.
