You're right, it needs a much bigger track to get the filming done. The long straights and sweeping curves would be fantastic for the onboard shots and 2 cars following each other through a very long curve would look great!

This is how the low Roadrunner ended up, the owner made a rust effect with primer, then salt crystals, then a top coat of blue. The salt crystals were washed off to leave a rust look underneath, and when it gets hit and paint chips off (this will be a club racer) it will leave more rust underneath!
And it looks cool as...
