I have have a MKII Slot.it model that I really like. The problem for me is finding a model from its era to race against. Something with similar stock performance that is. I ended up getting another GT40 for now. For the guys that have this model, what do you race against them?

At our club we race Slot.It "Classics" together. GT-40's, Chaparrals, Alfas, Ferrari 312s. Since there are multiple liveries for many of the different "Classics".

I guess I'm thinking more in terms of what cars will have similar performance in stock form. I would like to get a Fly Porsche 906, maybe a a Ferrari 330, something like that. Before we got a second GT40 most of our other Slot.it cars were too fast for it to be a fair race. How would the Scalextric Ferrari 330 compare performance wise?

The Scalextric 330P doesn't have anywhere near the performance of the Slot.it GT40. It can be set to run with the Scalextric GT40, but the Slot.it is leagues beyond the two Scalextric cars (even if you swap the Slot.it motor, change wheels, gearing, axles, and guide).

I race mine against the Slot It Chapparal, and a second GT-40. There is also a nice Alfa and a Ferarri from Slot it that will compete well. It will leave the Scaley in the dust.

We have found via extensive "Pseudo-Scientific Testing & Analysis" that racing like brands results causes massive releases of endorphins which enhance the amount of FUN derived from this endeavor we call slot car racing.
Scalextric LMP vs Scalextric LMP works, as does Slot.It Classics or Slot.It Group C, or Fly Classics or Carrera against a model of the same manufacturer.
Remember, having FUN is the most important part.
