Labor Day at HRW

Getting ready for the big weekend. Every year we enjoy hosting a race event over this weekend. Racers from all over make the trip for weekend of food, racing and more food? :)
As we are getting the HRW Skunkworks prepared, thought I would share a few pics.

First I want to thank the great sponsors we have. These are the folks who give something back which means a lot.
Paul Gage, RMS Resins, & MT Racing all sending things in as well. Will update the toy list as it grows.

SlotCarPlace.com sent in some really neat surprises. And is that a RMS Firebird?

Our own Dixon John is a new model kit dealer and donated these.

The General always comes up with little things for the racers. What goodies could they fit in these I wonder?

Maybe some of these from SlotCarCorner. Wow, what a spread! Most importantly we have a re-supply of Dum Dums.

Bruce at Cincyslots has great taste. He always seems to pick some great models and this year is no exception. Bravo!

Chicagoland Toys & Hobbies sent this trio. What a great stack of toys.
Here is a quick tour for newcomers of our humble basement which is as clean as it gets!

The "Bench Racing Bench" Here is where guys set the slot boxes up and generally solve all the world's problems.

The Skunkworks. Hard to believe we get anything done.

"Pit Row". From quick adjustments to all out tire and wheel work. Oh, it doesn't hurt that the fridge and cookies are close by.

The Midmo all ready for action.

And last but not least The Show-Me Speedway :)
Action starts tomorrow afternoon :banana-rock:
