That looks like a really neat job!
Was the motor pod easy to fit? And how does it run?

It was an easy fit to the chassis, just minor trimming of the pod on one side was required. I set it up in my chassis jig set to the correct wheelbase. I don't know how it will run as I don't have a track. :)

Nope, no track, yet. I'm working on getting something setup. Maybe later this year. :)

I have the gold street car from that series, and a few years ago, I tried to get it going. Short of doing a pod drive, I never was happy with it. I may try it. I have a couple of unused Fly pods laying around that were leftovers from Fly Fastkits. Great idea, Ken!

Jaguar before Ford screwed them up. A stunning design worthy of the Jaguar name. The new F-type, whether Ford or TATA's fiasco, is just ugly.
Nice work on the update. I bet it runs great now.

I have done a couple of similar podectomies on a pair of Fly Capri's with great results. I like them better than the Racer Capri that I also have. You did a great job on that conversion Sir. I think that you will like the results once you get it on a track.

Thanks for kind words all. Yes this car has great styling compared to the new ones. Long , low and swoopy a Jaguar trait. Looks like it's ready to pounce. :)

That is the car, if I am not mistaken, that they set up several identical units and ran a series like the IROC races where they invited top drivers from various racing disciplines to participate. I forget now who ended up winning the series. I always thought it was a great looking car. Great job Footscoot.
