Hope to try out some new SCc parts, play with my new Scalextric Camaro if it shows up, and fill some orders.

I love this time of year also!

Time to gear up for the slot racing season.

Like David I too am finishing painting the side of my house.

I will be glad when it is finished!

Also next Friday September 27th I am hosting the Bolton Raceway Park "4 laner was a no brainer" Fall Spectacular race!

Racing starts at 6:00 PM with food and beverages provided.

Typically we are racing till 3-4 AM in the morning still at past race nights!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

We will be racing a variety of classes of cars,various match ups, show and tell of scratch builds, and plenty of good bs and bench racing sessions!

So there is plenty of car and track tweaking to do yet to get ready.

So if any of you are in the neighborhood and would like to join in the fun please give me a shout.

Another 3 day weekend for me...Now that the track is painted all I need is the braid and hoping its ready for me soon.

Not much planned for the weekend, still got a car I am working on getting lowered with some big fatties on it with any luck I will get that done.

I might even start painting lines for the pit area on the track and trying to figure out what type of scenery i will be doing.

I got a crazy idea (nothing unusual for me) to add some weight to the 3 different liveries of Toyota group cars. I also couldn't put up with the wheels on them anymore, especially the white ones, so I painted them semi-gloss black. I think they look better. What the hey they're just slot cars. :)

We are scheduled to get our first rain showers of the fall starting this afternoon and through Saturday. I will get a little slot car playing time. All driving but no projects. For my weekend project, I am building an A-frame bridge for the G scale layout that my local club owns. http://www.mendorailhistory.org/index.htm

I just had a treat at our local festival "Cow Days".

Deep fried biscuit sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, with bacon and cream soda pudding.

Ive got some water drainage issues around my property so Im digging a 50foot trench & laying some pipe today. Ill be laying some copper tape on my track tonight if my back is not wrecked after today. Tomorrow im out driving with my 4wd club.

Sanded and salvaged a couple Strombecker bodies (McLaren and open backed Dino) as well as a pull back toy Chaparral. With a little luck those will get painted and my resin Porsche 550s (from the Maisto diescast) will get some Artin donor chassis this weekend.
