Well, what a week!

New models coming out pretty steadily. Carrera took my toy budget easily, but at least I get a lot for my dollar.

Custom projects stacking up. RMS Maverick, "The Wolseley Mini" and one more 1/25 truck to chop :) That is just scratching the surface.

Site and forum maintenance updated as well.

Thanks to all who contributed too, it helps. And not just funds but time and effort. Thanks for all that you do to make our forum a good place for home racers.

Now, back to work :)

Taking my 11 year old motor head son to Virginia International Raceway for the Heacock Classic Vintage Sports Car Races. This year's main event will feature Trans-Am cars from the glory days.
Weather is expected to be as near perfect as it gets.

I just organized my decal book. Needed to be done. Sometimes when the weather is not being cooperative, tasks like that finally get done.

15:00 didn't help things any. It happpen about every 4-6/7 weeks; Timber Cutters or Contractors;
Anyway It's coming along. New Decals should be in Tue. or Wed. from Slixx; May ReDecal a couple more;

Dundee Speedway got some Federal grant dollars and is under a major rehab!!

Adding several more R4 and R3 curves at the cost of bringing the footage down to 123 feet from 130.

Last layout 43 cars had their fastest lap on lane 1 and 45 on lane 2, hoping the equally of lanes is as good on the new layout.

Waiting for the rock wall from scenic to create a more realistic look where there are two tiers of track.

Added to more power jumps which can't hurt.

Then figure out what goes back and what goes into moth balls building wise, goal is less cluster per square foot on the track, hope I am strong enough to hold out!!

Will throw picks up on readers road when the carnage isn't quite so severe!!

After a busy week at work the shop met up a pub and then I ran home for our monthly Canasta game. One of our players is my friend who's son got the Scalextric track the fine folks on HRW helped me give away a few years ago. He brought their neighbor with them and we ended up racing in between games. His friend had only run commercial and on the Scaley track at their house. He was blown away.

During this time, I took a moment and opened up a box from HRW headquarters. Inside was a wicked looking, black RMS Cougar the Boss just built. He sent it to me to "try" out. Holy cow is this thing a beast! Handling is PERFECT, speed is PERFECT, the look is PERFECT, and you'd swear it was a Prius as quiet as it was. The guys were just oohing and aahing over it!

A BBQ with friends tomorrow, some mold work, and a good game on Sunday watching my Broncos kick the feathers out of the Eagles!
