Scaley Pro Performance kit

I have a Scaley Pro Performance kit I want to build, but here is an issue or two. Being somewhat of a novice at this, I have several bags of parts one isometric drawing of the interior assembly and an isometric drawing of the chassis assembly printed on the box insert. Is this all they give you? The yellow motor is mounted in the chassis, the blue and orange ones in a bag, No idea of what motor is what RPM. A bag of gears with no clue as to what is what. I had hoped for at least maybe a tooth count stamped on the spur gears, some idea on the five different axles...is that an "all kit" kind of thing? the same bag of axles in all kits?
I can puzzle this thing out eventually, but flying blind through the whole process is not what I expected when I bought it. I got it on e-bay. Is there an instruction sheet missing?

OK Most of it is figured out, but where can I find general advice on gear ratios? What is good for where?

Not really well done these kits. Still convinced they were made to enable the company to move 'sports performance parts' which were another ill conceived concept.
Yellow motor is 20k rpm - Blue 25k rpm - Orange 30k rpm
The easiest way to tell the difference in the crowns is the size. Smallest diameter has the least teeth. The pinions are a little more obvious just by looking at them.

Also the axles are an odd size so the gears and hubs only fit the bearings in this car. You can't use the spares on any of your other cars unless you get matching bushings or bearings.

We have a few pro kits like the above only in the nascar cot configuration, they run ok with some tickering like all cars out of the box, even with the big 30k motor. For what its worth on our 65'+ 4 lane high bank oval a 8-36 gear ends up being a 3.60 ratio, turns apprx. 8,200 rpm at the crown gear according to our hand held rpm meter. The 38 tooth crown gear they give you WILL NOT work with the tire size, why even put it in the kit??, it drags on the track, the so so tires they give you are another story. After several laps the gear wine gets louder & the plastic gear wears out fairly fast even with the proper gear mesh & lube. The slot.it pro axle system we have found is way better than than the scally set up. Go to you tube, type in Austin slot car club look up the gear/rpm set up video & see for yourself. My .02 worth.
