Is this adjustable regulated power supply sufficient to run a 4 lane routed layout?
( 0-30v and 0-3amp )

I know Harry.. Had that one on my last track..
My new track is a 'budget build' and I found the above power supply for sale at $50
( and that leaves money left over for a couple extra used cars :) )
Still researching..

3 amps for 4 lanes would be less than marginal for anything other than bog stock standard scaly cars. You woulod struggle with 4 slotits on the track. Get 2 power supplies if you must and run 2 lanes per supply.

The power supply you were thinking about getting might be great for the 2 lane I'm planning. I looked it up on the internet and the cheapest new price was $159. If you can give me a heads up on where to get one for $50 I'd appreciate it.

The OPs model might be OK for 2 lanes but not sure about 4. It's rather pricey compared the Pyramid. The Pyramid PS26KX is a good PS. But I'm surprised Pyramid or someone else doesn't offer a smaller lower amp lower cost model than this that is adjustable voltage.
