I guess I woke up with a littel extra blanket fuzz in my head, but isn't any car with an older livery a "historical color"?

The real car exists in Philly at the Simeone Museum. The car has quite a presence to it when you see it. I do like this Racer/Sideways QUITE a bit of course.

Well, the real paint job exists in that museum on the original 1970 917 LH, but there was no 935/78 'Moby Dick' that ran with that paint scheme. Even so, it's a cool livery on a cool car. :)

Love the livery... but not the car.

That is the reason for it. Recently a great group of racers over there held an event with some fantastic looking machines. Very creative and although certainly not "correct", it made for one nice looking field of models.
I want it. Not my favorite car, and it's pricey. But it's just a neat idea.

We went to the F1 race in Indy many years back, and they had a Porsche series race where the 997s were done up in the classic paint jobs -- Martini, Gulf, Brumos, etc. Very cool race, and this kind of paint job is no different. Might have to get this one. :)

There ya go :) If it's good enough for the 1:1 boys, who are we to disagree?

Hi everybody,
Just would like to inform you our Online store
www.racer-onlinestore.com has been updated with a new shipping
method to USA and Canada. At the end of transaction you may choose shipment by DHL, (subject to import fees and taxes)
and "registered mail". For this second method delivery time is around 14 days.
"registered mail" has been added since we have been informed that custom fees and taxes
shipping by DHL is extremely high and badly affecting final cost of model itself.
At your disposal for any further info at
info@racerslotcars.it or through online store
