That thing has been in so many movies over the years. I used to wonder if they were so prevalent in Europe, or if Renault paid them to flood the movies with them. I think even Clouseau had one in a Pink Panther flick. When they are going cross-country on TV in races, they look like the tail-happiest car of all time, but in reality, they corner like they are on rails. They are just goofy looking to western eyes, like the Citroen DS 21. Both run great.

Want to know the really humorous thing about this car? I bet it is a hoot to drive.

There were a lot of these in Europe, used for local deliveries. I'm surprised they didn't do the Monte Carlo
sedans. I want to see someone do a reliant.

Most of 2nd grade in Stuttgart I rode to school in one of these. The color is hard to describe...kind of like what Wrigley's Spearmint gum looks like after you chewed it for an hour. Seats were vinyl/cloth over plywood - I swear!

Dang it...looks like I may have to get this just for the memories...

It's the quirky choices with big personality that make me love SCX. Who else would do a F600 Abarth? Or a Fiat 850? Or the Morgan Aero 8? Or even the Citroen DS19 (which is dead sexy I don't care what anyone says)? I love them for it!
