Well our cold snap is over and this weekend it will feel tropical. Going to an indoor Live 8 race and have a little fun watching the carnage.
Plenty of projects going on, as Jim's post shows that there are a lot of us pretty busy :)
So what are your plans?

Summer is finally happening down here. The toy room, being insulated, is the best place to escape it. Unless of course it's sitting under a tree with an esky of cold brew.
Hoping to turn this

into something that will power a Mark 2 Sprite or an MG Midget, can't decide which.

From what I remember, that chassis would come close to powering a real one.
I thought all those had 3 windshield wipers? Was that later?

Maybe later. That's a Mark II Midget, I think. I seem to recall the Mark I had a split windscreen, which was a bit of an oddity at that time. Mind you, they weren't exactly new releases by the time I was old enough to be taking notice of them.
3 wipers on a windscreen small enough for a Spridget? I know they have a lot of rain in England, but....
Reason for edit: I should not change thoughts mid sentence and leave superfluous words lying around.

I drove my MK1 Spitfire year round through some pretty wet winters here in NW California. But the Spitties have a leg up on the Spidgets in that they have roll up, genuine saftey glass side windows rather than curtains . They also have a fully bona fide heater/ defroster standard from the factory.

I've got a Spit shell, but I'd have to do too much work on digging the innards out of it as it's made for a resin chassis.

I'm sure I saw a Tiger somewhere along the way. But you might have to install your own ejector seat.

I don't recall ever seeing those gawd-awful plastic bumpers on a Midget. The poor thing probably died of embarrassment if not of asphyxiation from having the grill mostly covered over.
