2014 Scalextric USA only releases!

A new MRE newsletter came though last week. Scalex have announced new USA only cars. Interesting the UK finds out about it before the USA. I thought you may be interested in them as Ive seen no mention on the forum. All I can say is yowzers. These will be cool & must haves.

We don't usually get much information about new cars so close to Nuremberg, but SCALEXTRIC have released details of two Limited Edition cars exclusive to the USA. The Lotus 49B in Gold Leaf colours and with the high wing had a guest driver when Mario Andretti stepped into the seat at Watkins Glen 1968 and took pole position ahead of Jackie Stewart in his first ever Grand Prix. This is surely one of the best Ltd Ed cars SCALEXTRIC could make (hope we get something just as nice for the UK Collector Centre model this year). The other USA special edition is a Ford Boss Mustang with race # 2 (see News Roundup below for more comments). We will be getting a limited number of both cars, so early advance orders are very strongly reccommended.
