I have decided to run the Denny Hulme version of this car. I have removed the magnet and will be replacing it with lead ballast. I want suggestions for what tires I should run on the rear end. Sponge/foam tires are not an option.
Thanks,
Paul

I decided to build this car on a whim not expecting much. I was shocked at the results and it is now one of my favorites on a non mag mdf track. I replaced the rearend with a good set of aluminum gears and bronze bushings. Rear tires/wheels were outsourced with SCC 15X10 insert wheels shod with SCC 2102r skins. A Slot.it orange motor took the place of the original and delivers a ton of horsepower. Sloting Plus 2130 guide takes the place of the original unit and has been shimmed so it is buried in the slot. The body posts need trimmed about 1/32 but I may install Sloting Plus offset bushings and hopefully achieve the same outcome. There was no need to add weight to make this little beast perform.
As I said this car is a road rocket and well worth the time and effort to build.

Ya it is a pleasure to make a small relatively un sophisticated car like the Revogram M6 run.......and they will run very well. I have three set up in various ways and they all are a pleasure to play with. Like the others, I am using Paul Gage urethane tires.
