I got out an old Ninco and was struck by how much vertical play there was in the front axle. So I decided to make some axle stops. I used Evergreen StripStyrene 3/16” square tube #253. I cut off a piece, then cut that on a 45 degree angle:



I did a test fit and it looked good, so then just a drop of CA and slide them into place:



It’s also a nice way route the motor leads:
