Good day All
I won the mystery box from the vodoo sale. Inside were an assortment of cars
all in need of repair. Does the ninco wheeI/gear take the same size allen screw as
slot-it ?
If so, where do I get such a small allen key or driver ?? I have never owned or
worked on these brands of slotcars before.
I have already tried to file down a 1.2 mm allen key
under the magnifier,still cross-eyed !! :angry-banghead:
HELP PLEASE !!

r the slot-it and ninco both the same size ???
ecr
Thanks Jim , I just looked.
Will the .9mm tip on the driver reach the wheel screw ??
It looks like it might increase in size too soon, therefore not allowing me to
slide the tool down the groove that is cut in the wheel ?
I may need a allen key !

Same tool, same place, Has anybody used this tool on a ninco wheel??
Is the slot-it the same size??
Will it fit down the shaft of a aluminum wheel that has the screw hidden
under the tire?? (brand unknown )

Slot.it grubs are M2. I think you may find Ninco are M2.5 like NSR. I will double check when I go out to the toy room in an hour or so. Will report back here.

Yes they will fit down inside the wheel. I think you may be right Ember. I am working so I can't check but you should buy one of each. Once you start playing with these wheels, it's only a matter of time when you upgrade gears:) So buy them both and you'll have everything you need. Jom

Just checked. Ninco grubs are M2 the same as Slot.it. The 0,9 hex driver is the correct one.

Slot.It set screws (M2) take a 0.9mm hex driver, NSR takes 1.35mm, Scale Auto 1.5mm. Not sure about Ninco but with these three hex drivers you should be able to work on just about any 1/32 scale slot car wheel.

The Ninco and Slot It.'s are .9mm or .035". Sloting Plus and NSR are 1.3mm or .050". As suggested buy both as sooner or later you will need them. :)

The Wera hex driver is a replacement for the cheaper Allen Key.
