I will be posting photos of those new cars this week! It will be a fast start for us with these 4 new cars that are coming VERY soon!

That's a pretty nifty looking insect, I mean slotcar. :)

Although I look at those mirrors hanging out there, and all that comes to mind is "Gone in 60 Seconds." (if they even last that long)

Nice engine and rear-end detailing, and the driver looks to be enjoying himself.

As with all Carrera cars the mirrors are designed to be easily removable PRIOR to driving the car if you're worried about damaging them. Also, along with a replacement guide and brushes, there are a pair of additional mirrors in the back of the case. :)

Wow! Well, I must admit that I didn't know that Carrera mirrors were removable. Thanks for mentioning that.

And as far as providing replacement parts along with the car, that's one of Carrera's strong-points in my mind, and is very much appreciated. Not long ago I picked up a Cobra that was missing a rearview mirror, but it didn't bother me any since there were spares in the case.

And you know what- the more I look at this car, the more I want one!

Yes, in fact none of the wings or mirrors are permanently fixed in place. They are simply snapped into cars. Most often parts like this are heat melted in place but Carrera does not do this for that reason.

Nice looking car, but holy crap, those mirrors are out there! Did Ferrari make those so the owner could detach them and play a quick nine holes?

so the owner could detach them and play a quick nine holes?

more like use them as clubs to fend of anyone coming near the car :)

we can start a guessing game - Scaley seems to be going for a 70s theme with its new cars - so where can Carrera go?

Maybe some 1/32 version of some of those sweet 1/24 cars - eg the 512s :) that would be nice and would make really good use of their Ferrari lic. and then there is the GT40 (well a few people do them in 1/32) so skip them and go for a P330 another good use of the lic. and then they have done a McLaren and Lola Can Am - what about a Ferrari?

Catching up.

Pretty impressive looking model. Not exactly my cup of coffee, but I will likely get one for the collection eventually.

I look forward to most all Carrera releases these days. Last year my collection was Carrera heavy and this years will likely be the same.

Thanks for the updates and information Dave K!
