Foggy Windshield?

So I picked up a used Monogram Fairlane Stocker that I was planning on re painting and to my disappointment the front windshield (and vent window) is somewhat "foggy" The back window is fine.

Thus far I tried to clean it with toothpaste (no improvement) and NOVUS plastic polish which helped slightly. Any way to remove the haze?

Cut and polish car wax. Worked for me whan I dropped some superglue on the windscreen of one of my cars. Just be patient and go about it slowly.

A few years ago, I bought a small packet of 2400 through 4000 grit pads from Micromark, and I did the same thing that Harry's guy did, finishing up with Novus. It worked so well, I had to do the rear windshield too to keep it from looking shabby by comparison.

It really depends on what as caused the fogging. Cut and polish, as Doc suggested. If it's very fine abrasions causing the problem, I've had success with Meguiar's Wetlook it fills the scratches quite well.

For scratchs or cyanocrylate glue fogging, you can try Future Floor. Search on google you'll find infos on this technic ;)

Try Megular's head light restoration kit. Get out your slow corded/cordless drill and chuck in the fuzzy bonnet attachment. Squirt some of the liquid on the bonnet and go slow for about 5-7 minutes. Worked on super glue "frost" too.
