That looks like a great combo and being a side winder, ought to handle nice as well! :)

can't tell if the wheels are torque thrust or halibrand - think I will go with halibrands - it seems the Hall Chapparal had some sort of wobbly wheel on them

I've got my popcorn for this one. I've got the RR version of this and it needs some work, but you've done a great job with it thus far!

by the way the back isn't as high as it appears in the first pic - I only dropped the body on for the pic it isn't screwed on
A bit of planning to do - I found that Patto has decals for the Scarab so that will help with the roundel and meister brauers decals - the front will be a challenge - Fred Cady did a set of decals for it so I plan on adapting an image of them to make a template if I can
the interior will also be a challenge with the sidewinder sitting right in the cockpit - I think I will do some cheating and cut a driver down to sit around the motor and have a go at the dash area - I think the Proto-slot kit is front motored so it has a nice cockpit - mine may be a slightly detailed flat tray

David,
That is one fine looking car....... looking forward to the updates.....
Interesting about posting here..... Stralia seems bloody quiet and dull at the moment

Very nice so far. I'm working on a RR Ferrari TR59 on which the casting is pretty rough.
