Changes to your track?

So what changes are in store for your home layout?
Maybe some nice scenery to finish or perhaps a design change? New power & control?
We are doing a little timing project which I will share later. But we are also making a few items for the track such as sanding/scuff stations.

Well, it's quite an overhaul for mine.
After a year or so of carpet running, I had decided to begin landscaping my existing Sport layout. You can see some shots of this in the SRC 908 L review. But then I had an epiphany. I wasn't enjoying running my analog cars nearly as much as I was Carrera digital. So, the Sport track is going in to deep freeze, along with most of my cars, and there is a D124 set in my near future.
It's a huge change, considering that only two of my 1/32 cars have Carrera chips in them and the rest are now relegated to looking pretty in their cases until I decide to set up the Sport again, but I think that the outcome will end up being much more enjoyable. I realize that digital isn't for everyone, but my experiences with it have been nothing but positive and I look forward spending time racing against ghost cars, managing fuel usage, and changing lanes!

I've added a significant layer of dust to simulate our snowy winter.

Not much on the Scaley track, maybe some additional scenery. As for the routed track which has a nice driving surface but almost nothing else I plan to add a timing system, possibly some shoulders on the corners, some railings where there are none and replacing some of the poorly installed railings. Then maybe some scenery.

No plans for the Targa track currently. I'd like to do something about some grass in the back corner, but talking HL into climbing into the corner that I can't reach is always like hard work.
But, there's plenty of work to be done on the hill climb.

No changes to existing tracks.
But, recently got a used Ninco go-kart off E-bay!
. . . Indoor Karting seems to be growing in popularity here.
. . . I'm beginning to feel another lightweight portable track coming on(!)
Anyone seen a routed slot Kart track? I haven't come across one on the internet.
(I guess I'm so distractable because I haven't been back in this hobby very long - no wonder I never get anything properly finished! :? )
David.

Yes, it's lovely, Jeremy.
I remember it; and don't the little European cars look good on it?
I was thinking about something a bit more basic.
David.

Looks like you're going to have no end of help available Dave. You'd better get those employment contracts sorted for them.

I am hoping to have my tracks up and going this year. Since we got hammered by a snow storm today, I may have some time tomorrow to start building the table.
