They are so ugly that everyone of you should mail them all to me immediately. I will attempt to destroy them by racing them into the ground.

I am willing to make this sacrifice just so you guys don't have to gouge your eyes out from looking at them. I know it's a huge sacrifice but I will do it for the good of the home racing world community. You can P.M. me and I will give you my address. Mark, are these repaints or standard issues? The pictures are brilliant, very professional - I think I'd describe them as portraits. Is photography your regular occupation, or are you just a talented amateur? :P Mark

I've gotta admit that the Liptons one doesn't do a lot for me, but the Black one and the Red road car I love, I rue the day that I didn't get them when they were new. Thanks for posting.

Ugly? Not at all. Funny enough though - I LOVE the racing liveries - the street cars is where I start to notice the inaccuracies of the car. Funny that I don't have a street version...

Very nice photography. Did you remove the guide flags from the cars or from the photos?

I always remove the guides - the cars just won't sit right otherwise and aligning to pre-cut slots is a pain in the backside. I will say that the old Scalextric guide is a dream to remove compared to some of the other manufacturers. Mind you in saying that the latest Scalex Trans-Am releases have a guide that seems to simply fall out if you look at it long enough....

Seems to be a bit of chassis twist in a couple of them Mark. I notice both the red and the black have air beneath their front wheels. Not that it matters if they are shelf worriers rather than track warriors.

Embs - chassis are fine, it's my placement of something underneath that causes the front wheels to lift slightly - I did notice it on the black car post photographing..... oh well - something else to remember for next time.....
