Avant Fly FlyAvantSlot Flavanot

Should be good news - I have a couple of Avant cars - they are good - the chassis is a step above Flyslot which is what counts

"These moulds are not in use right now and will be come to life with new chassis, motor pods and all the needs to join the races."

that is exciting what Fly moulds aren't in use at the moment - I can think of a few that would be grouse with an Avant chassis - the Fly rally cars, the 512s Berlinetta, the Group 5 cars, hmm classic lemans cars will be good to see what evolves

Well Fly certainly does make some beautiful bodies.

From what I saw last week, Avant Slot makes a good chassis.

Could be interesting. Another good looking, great running slot car right out of the box.

First, thanks Goose for sharing the news. It's hard to keep up sometimes and good to know you are on the job :)

Slot.it, Racer, and NSR are the Kings of performance models. Then there are a host of others like ScaleAuto, BRM, etc. To make it short & sweet, you need to bring something to the table that offers the performance-minded enthusiast a reason to stray. Perhaps unique body styles and reviving longtime favorites will help accomplish it. I hope the best for them.

Well if Slot.It continues down the "Classic" road, I won't have much left to spend on other models.

I have heard rumors that Slot.It is working on a Lola T70 - whether it's a coupe of a spyder, is just fine with me. Of course, if it's both, then I will have to find funding.

Just one more thing to deal with on a daily basis.

There will be a name change of course, the new venture will be called IvantAFly

Fly modelling with Avant running gear could only be a good thing.

It will be interesting to see what their first joint venture will be. I would think the Joest Porsche body would fit nicely on the Kremer Porsche chassis with little modification.

Finally as one would say....

Avant Slot have a great chassis but are terrible at producing cars that they announce

Fly Slot have great looking cars but have terrible running gear..

Let's hope they don't put an Avant body on a Fly Chassis :)
