I just picked this one up off ebay and to be honest I had no previous knowledge of it's existence. It has a chassis set up similar to their Maserati MC12 which makes me think it should be very quick among the Scaley LMP cars. As it was reviewed a long time ago by Harry I never noticed it. As it is 10 years old maybe a current driving review is in order so after I drive it I will make another post.

That car is a real favorite around here. HRW has done loads of good articles on the old site, but if there isn't one here, why not do it again. A secondary market in the best cars of the last 14 years benefits everyone, and might guide the remaining manufacturers in a direction to go in the future. Lee's handle on HRW was Lister Storm from the beginning. Its the wheelbase on that rascal that makes it handle like its on rails. There were several of the Fly cars that had it. Did it have the tail wagger motor/drive axle pod? I loved those things. I even bought some extras to use on scratchbuilds.

The headlight arrangement reminds me of the 2014 Porsche and Toyota LMP.

I think it is the fastest and most stable Scalextric LMP they have ever made. Too bad they used that pod design in only this car and the MC-12. I modded my two Listers with a Slot.it orange-endbell motor and gears, ball-bearing axle assemblies, drill-blank axles, the deeper Scalextric guide, and aluminum wheels front and rear (shod with silicones or urethanes).

If we are talking the same car, its one of very fastest in the Dundee Speedway fleet.

Always brings smiles whenever it stretches its legs!!

Always wished I had a second one!!!

Well it drives like a dream. I wish I had it a while back when we ran a Scaley LMP enduro. The car was slightly used but has no damage and the only change the previous owner made was to super tire silicones. I think I got a bargain at $30.
