ummm...pass. My brother had a 1:1 many decades ago. That was enough to put me
off most MG's. The electronic issues and air box fires were far to common. The last
straw for me was the throttle cable that snapped while on a date. I fixed it and told
him that was the last time I was going to fix that hunk of junk so he sold it.

I don't know, attractive little outfit. Not a big fan of the car, but it makes a nice classic runner.

Since it doesn't look like we're going to get one from anyplace else, I may have to pick one of them up. I had an Airfix on a PCS 32 for a while but it always seemed too "tippy". May try and resurrect it with one of the new MRRC chassis that the folks at Smith have.

Have one. Haven't got around to doing anything with it yet. It will be Group 44.

I've looked at giving in and buying the Scalex one many times. But I can't. It just looks cheap plastic toy to me. I'm waiting as patiently as I can for the Pioneer one. It will come. I have faith.

I think that one is pretty cool looking, I especially like the wheels.

I'll have one. I'm a little concerned about the color (crimson?), but even at that... I'll get it.

Being the owner of a couple of 1:1 Triumphs, I guess puts me in the category of being British car fan. I like this one and would like to get it sooner or later. I have one of the previous versions and it ain't a bad for such a little car. I raided my scale Escort MK2 for it's Pansport wheel/ axle sets. It looks like Scaley did the same with this one. On mine the bit wider stance and improved its roll stability so this car probably will enjoy the same compared to the other ones with skinny wire wheels. I have heard complaints about the modeling Scalextric did on this car, mostly coming from the other sites, but I don't see what the problem is myself. I think it is a reasonable representation of an iconic car which is pretty much what can be said of many others from several manufacturers.

I agree Mike. It is a reasonable representation and it works for me. We have the first one here and my buddy Tom has it smooth and fast. Did a motor swap for our series and a tire change. Like most anything else it's either nice enough or it isn't.

I like that one. I'll have to sell an organ to get one. Spring is keeping me poor. Maybe a slot car sale would boost cash flow.
