Well, what a week around here. All rested up from the Fun Run last weekend with more projects coming to life.
Special oval racing models on the front lines this past week. Not finished, but rebuilding an old warrior to set the tone for future builds.
With the crazy weather last couple of days, it looks like a nice weekend. Have some yard work to attend to and get ready for grand kids on Easter. Going to smoke a ham and The General is making her famous deviled eggs.
Going to do some "antiquing" tomorrow and head out to a place we have driven by many times, just never stopped. Could there be a slot car there? Maybe some old kits? We shall see.
Hope all of you have a great weekend having fun with family and maybe getting some good old slot car time in :)

Have a Happy Easter guys!
Off today spending time with the kids.
Going to my parents farm tomorrow to celebrate with my family.
Hopefully the weather is nice because the kids and I like to fly kites on the hill down there.
I just bought a new red baron kite to rule the skies!
Then over to my wife's families house Sunday.
Plenty of ham and good food to eat!
Hopefully the Easter bunny is good to all of you!
Happy Easter!

I'm finally home after 8 days of wandering the jungles of Florida. Had a great business trip and and even better time playing with toy cars at Lee's and Bob's places.
Two tele-conferences to participate in this morning and then off to box the entire garage shop up. That should be fun. I wonder how many molds I can put in a box before it is impossible to lift...?
On Saturday the PDR comes apart. I'm not relishing that exercise. All of the scenic items have already been removed, so this will be a full break-down. I also have to un-wire it.

Sunday is Church and then Dad's house for dinner.
I think I'll need to go to work on Monday just to relax...
T-Minus 7 Days until move-in!

Getting things done around the apartment that I've been neglecting for a little while and watching FIA-WEC at Silverstone are on my to-do list for the weekend. That and enjoying some nice weather! :)

Forza night tonight, possibly getting the Mini (again) tomorrow, watching F1 and WEC, and generally relaxing after a brutal week. My brain is fried, scattered, smothered, and covered.

My brother and his boys are visiting. Joy (dripping sarcasm required). Fortunately he stays at Mum's place because there is no room here, but I expect he'll be around this afternoon to have a whinge about her and his work and his ex.
Mother also has a cousin of hers staying at the moment. So she has an absolutely full house.
Taking dinner around there tomorrow night. Ox-tail stew seems a good cheap way to feed 7 adults. Fresh baked bread. Homemade cultured butter. Yup, busy day tomorrow.
Spent a couple of hours yesterday visiting Dad at the nursing home. And the on to His Lordship's mum.
With all that hopefully most of today is mine to work on fitting factory windows.

Not much slot related going on this weekend, but I have been cleaning up the yard a little at a time. Don't want to overdo it with the shoulder acting up. I did wash and cleaned up the car some yesterday. :) Everyone have a safe and happy Easter.

I'm in San Francisco. We are spending the night at our oldest daughter's place tonight and will deliver youngest daughter to the airport tomorrow for her flight home to Chicago. Not much slot related I know.
