This car is so classy it's got Roman numerals in its name.

Nowadays, pimps have no imagination; they drive a black 4x4 with huge chrome wheels and tinted windows. The more adventurous will have a floor length, white fur coat and some ostentatious jewelry, but where's the flair? And where are the flares?

Back in the '70s, superfly guy was rollin' low in a 2 door Lincoln with hidden headlights, a trunk lid shaped around the spare tire and opera windows in the B pillar. Now chase-cars puts you in the driving seat with the 1:32 scale Lincoln Continental.





If you want to try painting buttoned velour seats I'm not going to stop you, and you can go crazy with the color scheme too, mine was cream over burgundy which highlights the chrome nicely. You can choose your own way of being Huggy Bear's cooler cousin.



The kit includes resin bodyshell, wheel centers and driver's head, with vacform interior and windows (yes, including the opera windows too).

If you've got an old Scalextric Starsky & Hutch car, or another of the chase-cars kits where being cool beats being fast, this is the perfect addition. Message me for details once you've had your velvet jacket re-crushed.

Gareth - I have to tell you I needed a great laugh and just got it! That is seriously cool and just too funny seeing those sleds sliding around! Great work on the video as well. Although, that music is why I HATE most Disco type music ;)

When I first viewed the clip it sure looked to me that you had the driver lean into those turns just like those drivers of yesteryear did in those boats. Thanks it was fun watching that video and I agree about that music. Had more than my share of it in the barracks back when I was in the Air Force.

That is too cool! It makes me want to dig out my platform shoes and my... Wait! I'm 6' 7" I can't wear platform shoes...Darn Doorways.

Anyways, the video is a total riot to watch. I love the police cars leaning in the corners, and I really covet that Lincoln. I also agree with the previous posters about how much we need the Checker and the "Escape From New York" car. Now, I gotta go find some '70s TV shows to watch tonight. Maybe CHiPS or "The Rookies" just to be different.
