You did very well. The link to your more expanded version is well worth the read. Thank you for including the mention of the long shaft sticking out in front of the opposite rear tire. There were so many Fly cars that were made into best runners by taking care of that little thing alone.
I would like to take issue with a small comparison issue. Scalextric, Carrera and few others that still have a brain in their heads have not joined the "silly pricing" game, and it isn't fair to them to include them with comparisons to price-gouging Ninco, or struggling Fly, SRC, Pinkcar, LMM, etc, much less in the same sentence with the very much high performance NSR, Slot.it or Black Arrow, which are a different kind of car altogether, and probably worth their higher price. Like I say, its a small exception, but $20-$40 difference matters, especially since it was a short time ago most of the manufacturers were charging $35-$45 for a car. The manufacturers have settled into a tiered "value-for-dollar" range, and they have to be compared according to that scheme. People coming into the hobby right now have no idea how we got to this state, and most will not know the role that the demise of Revell-Monogram, GBTrack and SCX played in how we got here. Its important to me that people know what to expect from their purchase beyond your very accurate description of Scaleauto's peculiar position in the market. I mean, after all, "high priced but solid and beautiful so I'll probably buy it anyway" (as I say), is a weird thing for a newbie to understand! It would be a shame for someone to make a purchase decision for a lesser car and miss out on a jewel like this. That's the old fart position, anyway.

Well, I'm glad to see this review and it reinforces my desire to add this cat to my collection. My two other Scaleauto cars have been fun to drive and I hope this one will too.

Thanks for doing this.
I asked to have him share it here and glad I did.
Not a car for me, but good info is always welcome.

Bloody good Review.
Really in depth, No questions remain unanswered except for - will I buy one?
Hey who in Oz remembers the Mink Lined, Pink one, Leanne Edlestone was given as a present when her ex owned the Sydney Swans. Obviously money doesn't buy taste.
I remember seeing one of these in Perth years ago. Actually I heard it First, I turned around expecting to see a Falcon GT or similar, because it sounded just like a Falcon with a monster Cam. imagine my surprise when I saw this Exotic looking thing. It wasn't until later I found out they ran Ford Clevelands. In fact they used the Aussie cast clevelands, which were cast until '82.

Great review, I have always loved the Pantera and I want one of these. I will most likely buy the white kit as its got to be in black. I would also like to have a GTs version with the fender flares and rear spoiler.
