I had the first JEVER white version, very nice Porsche. Sold it to build the RSR - wahoo!

I have the first as well. You will like it even more once you run it. It will make you look at your old Fly version and wonder how you ever raced it :)
On our smaller track I swapped the motor to a MT5. It's still one of the best performers in the fleet.
Good to see you picking up a new one...but careful, these new Slot.its get VERY addicting.

Mine arrived today too.
What a beautiful looking car, and if it lives up to its reputation, it should be a screamer.
Can't wait for your review either.

That MT5 is a good choice. Honestly, the yellow Slot.it motor that came in it is pretty much up to snuff, but once the surface on my track is repaired, I expect I will need the MT5 to have more fun with it. I have a lot of Slot.its I never made much of an effort to convert, but since the old restored track is in shape, I can really enjoy a finely made car a lot more once the motor issue is dealt with. My old track was completely flat and the surface a bit gritty, so with a long straight on one side, I could use hotter motors as long as I watched out on the curves on the other side of the track. The restored, much older track I have now is much more technical, harder to get a rhythm on, so hotter motors are very difficult to deal with.

Although this is a nice looking livery I am satisfied with the three I already own. Two of the LeMans winner and one of the gold and black test car. They are all great performers on my wood track and have relegated my Fly cars to the role of shelf queens.

The Slot.It anglewinder is a good setup. The Slot.It Flat-6 motor is a good motor, however I can see where it can be overpowering the track.
I've been in the process for far too long of putting an H&R Hawk motor into one of these anglewinder Slot.It motor pods using the SCC adaptor. I think this will give us a light motor - it will save about 8 grams of motor weight over the "chunky can" and still give adequate performance for most applications. Plus the power output is something almost everyone is familiar with.
Just have to get to the local ACE hardware store for some M2 x 6 allen head machine screws.
More to follow.
I have used the M/T-5 motor in a RAW car for use on our MDF track. Runs great, nice and smooth. But it does add about 8 grams. On a car that will weigh 74 grams with the FC130 or 82 grams with the big can, I think that's significant. Less weight to accelerate, brake and turn.
Just my opinion of course.
