Small wheels and tires for fairly tiny cars

What are the best options for really small aluminum set screw wheels, and urethanes tires for them? I have lots of little (even micro) compact cars that I want to build or re-build, but there are few options for small wheels and small narrow tires. I don't want ridiculously oversized wheels/tires in my little cars, and I don't want to use plastic press-on wheels or cheap rubber tires. I see there are 11x5mm penelope pitlane wheels, which are pretty expensive, but are urethanes available for them?

Look on HRW for the Mini proxy race. Lots of good info there on wheels and tires.

Your best bet is to do the math and see what 1/43 wheels/tires are the correct size for your 1/32 minicar. Then contact 1/43 specialists like Steve @ Ranch Design. He has lots of these available and will even custom build for you at a reasonable price if you send him the dimensions.

I know that Dart Hobbies,, on line,,,, has the small, wheels and urethane tires as I just got some for my MG and Alpine.
And he ships worldwide ,, if you cant find them anywhere else, he is worth a shot.
He just did some replacements for the lads running the bug eye sprite proxy series, pretty small

Penelope Pitlane has 13" wheels and tires. They are in England but shipping shouldn't be too bad given the size of the package.

Thanks for the info everyone - I want to make sure I've looked at all the options. Every last 0.5mm counts on those little cars!
