What is my next car purchase?

My birthday and father's day is coming up and I am looking to purchase another car.

I just purchased 2 Slot.it Ford GT40's and Ninco McLaren F1 GTR.

I have some Scalextric and Ninco 1 cars.

I run on SSD track with digital racing.

Don't know what the next car should be...

Any suggestions?

"Now my question, with even the often said "Boat Load" of money can you make the basic one piece chassis Scaley car competitive with the two piece chassis/motor pod cars of Slot It, NSR and the other seemingly more advanced cars?" Umm...If I may, why would you want to? I won't say it's impossible (I'm inclined to think it would be impractical though I am not an expert tuner)but you'll probably spend as much or more than you would on a new Slot it. As to your original question, In the various classes, I buy my cars in pairs for racing as well. You have two GT-40's which can race each other, so I would find something to race with the McClaren. I'd recommend the Nissan R390 LT

After looking at every vendor in the US and UK, this was the best deal.

Really happy with the pricing and with my selection at his point.

Anyone have information the the NSR tires? Will I need to purchase Paul's tires?

The wheels have an air system. Will this not work correctly if you glue the tires onto the wheels?

Can I please point out that if you are running on Scalextric Sport Digital as seems to be indicated by an earlier mention of SSD you may have problems blowing chips with the hotter motor of the NSR. Of course, it is possible that you're running the Slot.it digital chips or the after market uprated ones. Just thought it worthy of note.

This car runs the 21,400 RPM moter. I have both the Slot.it and C7005 chips.

What chip do you recommend?

The Scalex chip is only rated to their 18k rpm motors. Admittedly manufacturing tolerances can see these motors revving around the 22k mark, but applying the same tolerance range to a 21k rpm 300 g.cm motor would put it over the 25k mark. I'm not a digital racer, but if I were I'd be going for the security of the Slot.it chip which is made for the higher powered motors.
