Hello all

I quite like the livery of the Mecom Racing team. I currently have the Ferrari 250 GTO and LM and I have a Lola GT and Scarab on order.

I thought I would try to gather a list (or photos) of cars raced by the Mecom Racing team.

What I have found so far relating to the 1960s

Zerex Special /Cooper Monaco /Hussein (not sure if same car)
Scarab Mk IV
Scarab Mk II front engined
Ferrari 250LM
Lola MK 6
Lola T70 MK1
Ferrari 250 GTO
Lola T90 Ford 1966 Indy winner
Corvette Grand Sport

Please add to the list or offer any corrections references or suggestions e.g. can I convert the Revellogram Lola to a MK 1?

I found they had a Lotus 19, otherwise your list looks pretty complete. The Hussain was a Cooper that after being modified for the Mecom team was renamed the Hussain in honor of the King of Jordan who was a business partner of the Mecom oil interests.

Add the McKee Mk 7.

The March 1965 issue of Model Car&Track had a profile of the Hussein I. If anyone is interested drop me a PM and I can e-mail you a copy of the article.
