I, much like you, have never heard of that brand prior to reading your post.

However, I did go on over to BRS Hobbies and took a look. Hey, with aluminum wheels, FK180 motor and an aluminum motor pod, it looks like a good car.

Perhaps I can take some laps with yours tomorrow?

Looks like someone bought a whole bunch of Sloting Plus bodies and bits and pieces and made a kit.

Marty, the motor pod is silver plastic. The pod and chassis look straight and pretty stiff. The chassis can take a slot.It inline pod for a FC-130 motor.

I have a couple of the Hobby Slot universal chassis; one under my 56 Vette and one under a Strombecker D-Type body. Very pleased with them (kind of a poor man's slot it) and yes the Slot It motor pod does fit them just fine. If you order one of these make sure you get it from BRS......the other "vendor" does not include assembly hardware.

I got it assembled Sunday evening. With the stock rear tires I got it turning some respectable 7 second laps. After I installed a pair of Paul Gage urethane tires I was able to cut my lap times by half a second. This is a nice slot car and with the stock motor and gearing it should be competitive with my slot.it LMPs. All in all not a bad deal at $55.

The really good news is that the Courage escaped "The Crusher" aka auto trunk closer on your Cadillac.
