If you are looking for replacement chrome, try BTA Mouldings. Can't remember the URL but you should be able to find them through Google. Much cheaper than Scalextrix Restorations.
I have the Bison Computing car. Always loved the Datto Zs.

RM in oz is right, I have ordered parts from Graeham on many occassions.
He does his own molding, and loves restoring the old cars.
The motors in some are different if you seemin RMs pics.
The open can is the old Johnson, and they stepped up to the can Mabuchi in later production.
The Johnsons are a great old motor, and easy to rebuild.
Nice grab by the way.

Even though RM posted a link to get the bumpers I also noticed that neither of his 260Zs has the bumpers installed. I think first I will strip the body of the old stickers/decals and see whether it needs repainting. Then I will look for suitable PG tires. If the motor runs I will leave it in place but I need to replace the pinion and crown gear as they are stripped. This car is narrow compared to other cars of the period that have been recently molded and is most likely more to scale.
The 240Z and 260Z were significant race cars in the 70's and 80's and I'm surprised there aren't any other manufacturers making them. If I end up changing out the chassis it looks like the sebring chassis is a prime candidate.

I have done a resin version based around the Scaley 260.
Here is my build sitting on an HRS chassis....I cast the inserts too.
