My "old" one already runs like it has a guide in back, so I wonder too.
I don't need much more changing. It was fine the way it was.

I agree Harry, when it comes to can am racing my chappy is the one I reach for first. Of course I've made a couple of changes like an NSR guide and braid, an NSR 20K motor, and NSR rubber. I like the NSR motor for it's smoother power band.

This release looks great, but I was really hoping that I'd open this thread and see photos of a newly minted Chaparral 2D. We have Slot. It, Scaley, and MRRC pushing the 2E, but no one has made a 1/32 2D since Eldon and Strombecker? AFX released it in HO a few years ago, but will we ever see a Slot.It 2D?
(post edited because I think Cox only made a 2D in 1/24, but Eldon and Strombecker did 1/32)

i read a review somewhere else that referred to this car as a "cox tribute car." that article also clearly stated that the box art was purposely done to mimic the cox box, not a "knockoff"
i said cox box :)

This thing is pretty sweet. It comes with an extra painted wing and uprights.

The box is a real close facsimile. I'm getting old. :) Have you ever noticed how Slot It. uses an oval for their logo? 8-)

Does it come with a clear acrylic display case lid?

At only $55.99 you cannot hardly beat that. A great classic you know runs great without the inflated price tag.
I might "need" this one.
