Another week gone by and time to finish some projects. The Gen and I should have our "HRW Flathead Assc" Shotgun Sedans finished and she is already working on a RMS Cuda!
Have a couple more 1/32 models myself to start on as well as a good old 1/25 bomber.
Some new releases came our way this past week and we will be updating the review section soon :)
Hope all of you have a nice weekend. We are heading to the big town (Jeff City) tonight for an evening of shopping and hopefully a nice dinner. Have some coupons for Sonic and I think The General will be happy. I mean, who doesn't like free drinks?

I'm actually going to get to play with slotcars this weekend.
We'll be running the Porsche IROC series Sunday evening. Hopefully I can remember how to drive :o

Haven't heard the status of my racing buddy as of yet. So, it's possible, we could spend tomorrow in race mode? If not, I have a ton of slotjects, "To Do". The first and foremost on my list, is to replace the braid on 99% of my cars. Hope everyone has a slotting good weekend!

This time of the year, it is hard to find time to do much of anything hobby related. However I have begun rehabilitating my old 4X8 little D oval. Little D is a feather weight track designed to be highly portable. It's surface is made of 1/4 plywood over 1X1 redwood members with to 2X3 backbones. I can pick it up and load it on the rack of our Subaru SUV by myself. Last year I converted it to MAGracing (mag steer) by gluing a small piece of .030 music but the project failed due to the undulating surface of the 1/4" track surface where the slots go clean through the wood. I have some left over braid from another project so the Little D will get braid in her next life. I also plan to install a dead strip timing in her too. She never had timing in her last life. I also started building a series of short track roundy rounders to use on the Little D by installing various pony type car (Camaro, Mustang, Cuda) bodies to SCX Nascar chassis.

I'm fishing a new fuel line into the VW Bus. Not that hard to understand, but its tedious and back breaking to do the way my old body has to. I'm sure that between actually doing anything and resting in between, it'll take all weekend to do this 3 hour job. But the weather is being good to me, so it isn't miserable.

HL has a wedding job today, so that leaves me free to play with toys. :)
Alas wedding expo tomorrow. An exciting day of standing round trying to look interested while future brides and their mothers wander around gawking at things. All 3 limos will be polished up first thing in the morning for display at the front door.
"Oh, but mummy I want a bigger car than that" .... "I want gold cars"... "And when we arrive at the church I can be standing up waving through the sunroof." Ugh!!! Save me!

Not sure what's up for the weekend. I didn't make any plans so it could be anything. May work some on the Miata project I started about 2 years ago now that I have the slimline motor mounts from Devis3D. Still haven't got my car back from the bodyshop. :)

Some house chores, get all three hairs cut, build a shelf for the PC/timer system for the track and keep working on the upcoming RMS release. I have to hurry up, another one is right behind it!

Marcus, his son and I will get together to run the cars tomorrow, probably at Buena Vista Motorsports Park. Then Wednesday night, I'll be hosting races at Woodland Trace.
