Well, this week has been a good one I would say. The Shootout was a blast and it was great seeing everyone again. Planning my road trip to Chicago as well, but first maybe a trip to SEMO. Just have to see if Mokid will let me sleep in my usual room :)
The big reveal of Professor Motor's new NINCO pricing has a lot of us very pleased. Next week folks should start getting the new releases in and I look forward to all the track reports.
Other new releases are trickling out and pretty soon we will be slammed with them from all brands. Look forward to that :)
Have a busy weekend of tuning planned. 2 new Carrera DTM models to line out for the series, and a couple surprise models that somehow took control of me. Fun stuff, I'll cover that this weekend I hope.
Finally want to thank all the folks who have contributed to HRW. This means a lot to us and we sincerely thank you. Not just donations but helping others here with great posts. Good info is what a forum is all about and you folks really stepped it up a notch.
So what about you folks? Any fun slot racing plans?

Should have a good race this weekend at crossroads, going to be a jalopy showdown!
Also bagged a 80lb hog last week thats been on ice,he will be going on the grill Saturday!
other than that, some more work on Cherokee point , getting it ready for the new timing system.Hope to have the software worked out as we will have analog fuel usage and endurance races on the road course, that should be fun!
Have a great weekend everyone!

With the predicted rain on Saturday, I will be continuing work on my AutoWorld Racing Rig repaint and chassis work on my ASA Mustang (body is stripped as of last night to start getting ready for modification!) - but Sunday will most likely be yard work as it is supposed to cool off to a very nice predicted 75 and sunny. :)

This weekend SCANC will be prepping cars for Carolina Chaos 2014 and Rob and I will be also prepping our tracks and homes.
The racing happens over the weekend of the 20th and 21st. Members of the Atlanta Gang and possibly some folks from Chelsea, Alabama will be coming up for a weekend of racing, general banter and good food. Jeff will be making his delicious green chili pork burritos and I'll be doing up a couple of crockpots of my southwest chili. We'll also have sub sandwiches and plenty of beer, soda and bottled water.
Looks like we'll have better than one dozen racers.
We'll be running several classes of cars over the weekend -
NSR GTs
NSR Porsche Cup cars
NSR Porsche 917s
Slot.It Group C
Slot.It Classics
Racer Sideways Group 5
Racer Sideways Daytona Prototypes
IROC Monogram Stockers
and Jeff's scratch built 1/24 scale hardbodies also as an IROC race
Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to reviewing cars and maintaining this terrific site Harry!

Cancer benefit tonight, regular racing night tomorrow night. Pretty sure the racing portion will be more fun than the cancer portion!

Way to go Lynne, glad you finally got the board.
Me,, well it will be a combination of setting up my moulding stuff, and building in between.
The organization methods you all mentioned have worked a treat, so that continues.
I will be working on a 60s F1 car using the Devis parts I acquired.
Almost forgot, its the county fair this weekend, so I will have to go and meet up with all the other townfolk, and watch the demolition derby....

For my daughter's cross country team, it is tradition for the seniors to host a pasta party the night before meet, so my daughter and her friend volunteered our house this evening. About an hour before the girls were due, the sky opened up and it poured. We ended up with about 80 girls crammed in our house, it was really kind of funny, and claustrophobic.

I'm working on another Scaley T/A Challenger. Got the goodies from SCC and just need to finish the body work, paint, and decal. That should only take a couple more weeks.
