This is looking good - hope it is something they adopt for lots of their cars - love to see one for a 917k :)

This will with no doubt be better than the first car to come out of this collaboration: the Ferrari 512BB. The ones I tried were pretty much crap. With a motor pod, the new ones should be better.

I presently own one of the Avant Slot Mirage GR8's and think that is one great chassis. It has what appears to be the same motor pod.

It looks like a step in the right direction to me. Depending on the price point I will most likely be getting the BMW M1.
