Taking a few laps in a classic Carrera

Got this little gem from Bibbster in his sale. Great car and I have plans for it.
But decided to have a few laps just the way it came.
Good times. I remember this model when it came out. It gets a vote to be another on the "BringItBack" Carrera list.

It's a little rough, but not that bad really.
I think I will doll it up with some nice parts though. I am on the fence as far as chassis goes.

Love running the old ones. A quick visual comparison of this car vs the new Carrera Cobras or Cheetahs says to me how much improved the detailing of Carrera cars have become at little or no price increase since the time your car was released. Late 90s?
The driver and navigator sure seem to be "Riding High."
