Carrera Slots also has Paul Gage Tires for each of the cars they sell.

Just wanted you to know that.

22103XD XPG tires will work on any of the Carrera Historic Stock Cars.

Very cool car Dave!, As you know,i have not been long back in to slot cars,and have been buying up various cars over time to complete series and such, The one thing I noticed was that all the Carrera cars I have purchased,new or used, were the best running cars on either of my tracks. Not always the fastest,but I don't need speed, but always the least finicky and best handling even before a tire change to PG's. And almost always detailed to a level I am very happy with.

I can safely say that with the Carrera cars the racing is always top notch.

At a 400 lap race at Buzzard Bay, I lost the race by about 5 feet to another Carrera car. That's close racing, at least it is in my book.

I got this one not too long ago also. Great running car right out of the box and nicely detailed on the outside.

I had the same experience with Carrera when I ordered my Alfa for the Carrera proxy race. Car arrived right away along with the Paul Gage tires and it ran really great right out of the box. I ran it with the stock tires; it ran good, then added the Paul Gage tires; it ran great.


Ventura Alfa

Unfortunatly Tinys' only claim to fame is winning the 1963 Daytona 500.He feasted on the cars that ran in the Sportsman event.I believe he won that twice.Why he was passed over during his career is a mystery to me.He ran in a variety of races and did rather well.To sum it all up "I coulda been a contender. I could been somebody!!" :think: :think:

All of which is part of why us old farts remember him fondly.

Dave, welcome to the world of RTR and runs great- except yours didn't... I never heard of that happening with Carrera, but you got it straightened out.

Yes i too can vouch for the great service carrera slots provides. They are right here in my home town and ive bought quite a bit from them! They are more then great to work with. They even stay late or put suff aside for me. Thanks again carrie!!!
