This car is another pre 62 strombecker body I had. This car was painted in 1962,from the molded in blue color to a detailed black with original decals. I could not bring myself to re-paint this old ride after 52 years! it still has shine to it, and the few battle scars it has just gives it character to me. I did another Artin chassis conversion, asImageImageImage this one did have broken original body mounts. still need to fashion light covers this afternoon. Lap times are dead in line with the rest,at around 8.850 average. (my Jag has a best lap of 8.555) so a little tire work should make it a winner. No more waiting in a box to be raced again someday, this one will see action this afternoon, with an inaugural position in one of our endurance 600 races. hope yall like it.

I love it! :text-bravo: You are very fortunate to have the original exhaust. Tiny Motors used to make repops for most of the Stombecker parts but they've shut down. Since you're keeping the original paint I would put a coat of Future on it for protection. (My paint bomb Testa Rossa is still soaking, looks like about 4 layers of brushed on paint. Once it's clean, I'll catch up with you.)

That looks great and the fact that you were able to save the '62 vintage paint is even cooler yet!
Sweet conversion! :D
