Had not seen a post or review of this one yet, and that's probably because it is basically the same as the 250 Maserati that has been out for a while. Being a Shelby fan of everything the man ever had his hands into, I had to get this one!. This car was entered and driven by Caroll himself in the 58 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. It was entered in the now very familiar blue with white stripe paint scheme that became a Shelby trademark, and finished 9th overall. This particular version of the Maserati is part of the Lengends series, and my car is #2095 of 2500 produced. I took some pictures so you can see the variations from the other Maserati offerings, but did not do a drivers review, or tech review as Harry has already provided an outstanding one listed in the archives.
provided here.
http://homeracingworld.us/Reviews/2014/ ... serati.htm since this IS just a different Livery, there was no need. Here are the pics, hope you enjoy them, It is a must have for Shelby enthusiasts in my opinion.

Todd they sure are not the ones to run AFTER you have ran all the really fast great handling cars!
Lots of air time, even with the volts turned down.

You are doing well...and not to hijack your thread but wanted to show you my latest.

RazorJon gave it to me. Nice looking, just not mechanically my favorite. I hope to change that.
Thanks for the review. I saw both of that one and the Vanwall...but the T/A cars won the battle this round.

I have been looking at those! The sharknose is great looking car, I have not started on collecting up the rear engine cars just yet, But I can see I might need to get started!
Very cool of Jon to pass that on too! I am sure you will get her purring like a kitten in no time.

Very nice car. I really like these cars, but I don't usually buy them just because they are so delicate, so I own them vicariously through others. My LHS has one, but I bought the Camaro instead. :)
