Can I ask a favor of someone?

Can someone take a picture like the one below looking down from the top of two 1/24-1/25 cars sitting side by side while in the slot on a scalextric sport track?

I'm curious if you can run this scale of car side by side on scaley sport or if they are too big and will rub or crowd each other not allowing passing?

1/24 &1/25 cars are to big for scaly track you might have about a 1/4 to 1/2 if you are lucky and forget going on the turns tried it

My first layout was a 4 lane Scalextric Sport and it was tight to race 1/24 cars, but it was a blast..
We were able to run them and make passes, but it was close! Rubbin' is racin' Wayne :mrgreen:

We were running model bodies mounted to H&R chassis if I recall..tires had to be tucked under the fenders.
No open wheel racing, just bombers and street cars..

I think these are from 2001 or 2002..







I know there are pictures of four 1/24 cars running around that track somewhere..
I'm looking for them~

Those cars were fun to drive around the tight track and produced lots of good laughs..
notice they are not 1/25 scale small cars like Pintos and Vegas.. the are full size 60's and
70's American iron.. smaller cars would work even better. Maybe not for a serious racing
division, but for an afternoon of fender banging, it's a great time~
