I like this year/body style of the Camaro the best.



Again it does not matter to me if the paint on the car is Trans-Am or not, I'll run it :)

NICE looking Camaro! I can hardly wait for that to hit the local track! I have a number of the '70-72 Scalextric Camaros and really enjoy them - that latest offering will be a nice addition! :)

There is just something about a pony car no matter the color.

Sign me up for a #2, that looks awesome. I have avoided the later model Camaro only so my wallet can take a breather from that potential floodgate.

Rumor was that the round bullet tail lights on the '70 Camaro raised the ire of the Corvette faction at Chevrolet so much that they were forced to change the design for future design years. The claim was that the round bullet design was the exclusive domain of the corvette.

I agree - I always knew they were clones of the Corvette tail. Interestingly, have you been behind a new Vette in traffic lately? I can't tell the difference between it and a new Camaro. I can't help but think Chevy made the current tail of the Corvette a little too close to the Vette.

Gag...don't start me on either the new Camaro or Corvette...please stick to the vintage and good looking ones!

The Red white and blue 69 is Joe Chamberlains Car. He came out to Australia for a couple of years in a row with I think Ron Grable who had a firebird. Painted up in American Airlines colours as a team USA. To match race Moffat and the rest of the Locals. The first year He left the car here and it's still around, but the RWB car went back to the US and was more commonly seen as the White and Orange lennox Camaro that Scaley did years ago.
