They are so close the difference is not really a factor, at least in my eyes.

The real sticky track with magnets is the Old Eldon track but those tracks aren't to friendly with the new cars with their flags and brushes. What was amazing is yo could place a Scaletrix Mustang on the Eldon track and tilt it around 60 degrees before the car would release.

I was just about to ask about Eldon track as I am running it around the Christmas tree this year. Good info!

Carrera is about to release some track with even less magnetic attraction, but it's a different color, like gray or white.

Mikey, the problem I had was with the inside lane which had the metal tabs facing the brushes which slices them up pretty good. I ran my Eldon track until a couple of years ago which I got back in 63. It came with two Indy cars powered by two D-cell batteries. Then in 65 I got another Eldon track that was a figure 8 and it came with a Ford Gt and Ferrari but had a transformer. So really I can't complain much about the Eldon tracks, just wish I still had those original cars.
