Personally , I could not agree more with choices for the various awards. Love the new Bug!, and Carrera in general, PG tires are exclusives on both my tracks, I have resins from both the masters and they are quality at its best. Scaley trans ams,yup! have not tried the tire razor yet, but all I hear is how great it is. plenty of CB wheels rolling on my oval and road course, and Marks motors are the lifes blood of my classic sports car class. Yes sir, could not agree more!

By the way, I was trying to give a link to one of our club members for the one I bought from Amazon, and the cheapest one I found was nearly double what I paid two years ago. Our demand has pushed up the prices, eh?

Call me crazy, but wouldn't the Policar Ferrari 312PB be a more significant release than the Carerra Group 5 Bug? The Bug is fun and a sweet runner, but the Policar 312PB represents the return of a historic name in slot car manufacture AND Slot-It's return to producing Ferrari models. I'm sorry, but while I'm not surprised at the nomination, I emphatically disagree with it.

Hey, that's just fine. We all have our favs. And I like those cars, a lot. I race both.

But the mold itself isn't a new one...so I did not include it. The entire model is just a re-release under a new name, so not really qualifies as "new".

It's also not a car that most are that excited about compared to responses we have seen with the VW, both in mail and forum.

I agree about the name having historic value, but It doesn't carry this large historic appeal on this side of the pond either. It might be for some of us who know about them, but it's not a name like Aurora or Revell.

And The Ferrari reference isn't that exciting? You will notice they don't use the brand name due to licensing?

But good to see some folks liking them. Yet given it was not really a new car I did not include it.

I think the real news will be when the F1 models hot the streets.

Everyone on this list is very deserving, just another great year for all these guys. :clap:

Honestly, I doubt we'll see much change in this list next year. It's very hard to beat the quality of products and services we've seen from these in-home operators. SCC is the best developer of slot car parts and accessories in N. America, bar none, and Carrera, despite being the biggest, is also willing to go out on a limb with interesting, high quality releases at a good price. And every one of these leaders keeps on developing 'more and better'. Great, great stuff!

Your opinion is very important to all of us underground guys that try and give a bit of variety to a particular niche. For myself this board is the one and only avenue that highlights oval slot racing at it`s best, and this makes for a perfect place for my offerings. Like I said everyone doesn`t bleed circle track racing, but there is a need for some off the wall resin products that the big boys will never understand.

As to my M/T Racing line of motors, I have to also commend HRW for the kick start, were it not for this forum who would ever have known.
Also a big Thank you to SCC & SCC CANADA for stocking the M/T Motors... they are the real PUSHER MEN :D

Gang we are living in the best time to be hooked up in this hobby, folks talk about the 60's and 70's but we have more choices and tuning parts than ever, its easy to love this hobby.
