This really depends on your track, your track surface, and the amount of bite you have. The more bite you get and the higher your speeds, the more you need a rounded shoulder.

You always want a little. It is pretty important IMHO. I like to start with a slight amount and just test. Once the chatter is reduced I call it good enough.

I will go with the "round the edges" crowd. You need to round the edges just enough to get rid of the chatter. This calls for LOTs of testing to find out how much you rounding you need... Ok, maybe not so much. But it is a good excuse to "test" the cars...

Depends on the tire too. Softer tires require, more harder tires less. I generally give her plenty and call that good enough. You may lose a little bit of straight line contact patch in your tire when you round the edges but I doubt very much if you will find a measurable difference if you do a little more than necessary.
