They are some tough cars for sure, and you are so right about donor chassis! cant get enough of them.

I have some Artin cars which have been on the track for at least 8 years.
As a few of you know, I run races for kids on my routed 4x16' track.
I wish I had seen those two cars. There are about 30+ in my infield.

I run Artin cars even with stock tires here. I can't remember getting a I got a bouncy wheel or a bent axle with them. They don't require a magnet to keep them in the slot or on the track. The guide is always well planted and all of the various configurations of bodies on the same chassis are very predictable sliders.

The Carrera DTM cars are fun to run and very durable. You can't get them for $9.00 but even at $32 they are relatively inexpensive.
