Here's your field. We're still waiting on two cars; one from Chappy and one from Z-carfan; both in the mail and they'll hopefully make it before Sunday's race. Todd also has two cars that will join the series after the first Round is completed. So, at the end of the day, we should have about 32 cars in the field for the majority of the races in this series.

Sequentially, with a little more detail:

Now, a look at the "Country Teams". Leading the pack is the USA, plenty of Detroit iron in this series; whether it's the big displacement sedans or the speedy Corvettes:

The Corvettes:

And the big sedans:

Followed, closely, by Germany; filled with Porsches, Mercedes-Benz and the almighty Volkswagon:

The Porsches; 356's and 550's:

The Mercedes; a trio of 300 SL cabs:

And the Volkswagon Bug:

Then the British; a team of 3 Jaguars; two XK-140s and a C-Type:

Finally, the Italians; with several marques making up the group; Lancias, a Ferrari, a Pegaso (actually a Spanish car, but designed by an ex-ALFA Romeo engineer.......), and an OSCA MT-4 (a Maserati in disguise........):

The Lancias:

The Ferrari:

The Pegaso (Team Spain!!):

And the OSCA:

As you might expect, there was a fair amount of posturing going on during today's photo session. Several of the teams decided to run up against each other................:
The Corvettes and the Porsches were the first to mix it up a little.............:

And, of course, the Volkswagon had to kick some sand in the faces of the big Detroit sedans.............:

Then the Jags and the Mercedes got into the act:

Finally, unable to stay away from the camera, the Italians got it on with the factory Lancias spitting Prosecco through their teeth at the other 3 marques................:

We even had a one toke over the line, David and Goliath, pose-down..............Let's hope that David's not on the end of a big nerf from Goliath once the racing starts...................:

And that's it for today from The River Run. Qualification tomorrow; providing that the drivers don't drink all night and start tossing their cookies when the quali flag drops....................
Good luck to everyone!
